This family was so amazing. They gave me a glimpse of what my life will look like in 10 years or so, when my children are all out of diapers, carseats and strollers, and when we can easily hang out as a family without the logistical planning that frequently accompanies our outings and activities now. Make no mistake: I love my little ones, and treasure each day I get to spend with them. But, there is a lovely warm light at the end of the tunnel of babyhood, and while I know I’ll miss them small, this family made me really look forward to when they’re a little older.
